Denielle C. Medynski, DMD

Denielle C. Medynski, DMD graduated from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Dentistry in 2002.  She then moved to the Hudson Valley in New York where she completed a one-year AEGD (hospital-based) residency program at the Castle Point Veterans Hospital in New York.  For the next seven years, she ran a general dentistry practice in New Windsor, New York before returning to school to study orofacial pain.  She completed a two-year certificate in advanced training of orofacial pain at the University of Kentucky in June 2012 with focus on TMJ disorders, burning mouth disorder, neuropathic pain, headaches, and sleep medicine.  She is board certified in Orofacial Pain.  She has a passion for managing neuropathic pain and headaches.  

In addition to her private practice, she has worked as an assistant clinical professor for almost 2 years in the Orofacial Pain Center at University of California – San Francisco.  She is a member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, the American Headache Society, and the ADA, CDA, and Napa-Solano Dental Society.  She has been called as an expert witness in cases related to head and neck pain.

In pursuit of a location with a climate conducive to managing neuropathic pain, she settled in Northern California to focus on her vision of a multidisciplinary approach.  She has settled in the East Bay with her husband and daughter.

Ben Kruman, DDS

Benjamin Kruman, DDS, DABOP is a board-certified Orofacial Pain specialist. Born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Kruman earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

While in dental school, he became interested in the specialty of Orofacial Pain, and upon graduation, decided to pursue his passion for treating chronic pain patients. Dr. Kruman was admitted to the highly selective University of California, Los Angeles Orofacial Pain & Dental Sleep Medicine 2-year residency program, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Kruman provides patient-centered care in the treatment of TMJ disorders, neuropathic pain, headaches, and dental sleep medicine. He is involved in the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and is passionate about delivering the highest quality care to patients, educating patients and providers, and promoting the field of Orofacial Pain.

He currently lives in the Bay Area with his wife. When not working, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and Michigan football. Go Blue!
